Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using TaxOp (the "App").

1. Acceptance of Terms​

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service​

TaxOp provides tax planning tools and expense tracking for foreigners working in South Korea. The App provides estimates and projections for your year-end tax settlement (연말정산).

Disclaimer: TaxOp is a planning tool and NOT a professional tax filing service. The calculations provided are estimates based on user-provided data and current tax laws as we understand them. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy and are not responsible for any tax liabilities or penalties you may incur. Always consult with a licensed tax professional or use official government services for final filings.

3. User Accounts​

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

4. Prohibited Conduct​

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Interfer with the App's performance or security.

5. Subscriptions and Payments​

  • Premium features may require a subscription.
  • Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Subscription terms and refund policies are governed by the respective App Store terms.

6. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VelmoApp (TaxOp) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

7. Changes to Terms​

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the App or email.
